About us

Kirby Cane Charities (KCC) is a charitable trust which administers the funds and lands generously donated over the centuries by the Church and philanthropists, such as Henry Bonfellows, John Hardwar and Thomas Pott, for the people of Kirby Cane.

 

Assets

KCC has four plots of land: three are used for farming and one of the plots of land is rented by the parish council for allotments (since 2011). Agents manage these holdings on behalf of KCC. Income from these are in the region of £1500* per annum. The financial assets generate approximately £240* per annum. Operational costs are, typically, £420*.


The latest accounts can be seen, for free, on the Charity Commission site, or you can request a copy from KCC (for a £10 fee for postage and preparation of each year’s accounts). Records of accounts are retained for six years.
