Trustees have overall control of the Charity and are responsible for making sure it’s doing what it was set up to do. They are the people who lead the Charity and decide how it is run to meet the Objects of the Charity. They also ensure the Charity remains independent.
Trustees receive no benefits from the Charity, nor do they have any financial involvement or interest in the property of the Charity.
Three trustees are appointed by Kirby Cane & Ellingham Parish Council, two by the church wardens of the parish and a further trustee may be co-opted. The current trustees were elected in May 2023 and serve for a term of four years.
If you are interested in becoming a trustee, please contact Kirby Cane & Ellingham Parish Council, or the church wardens for Kirby Cane.
All of the Trustees' names are publicly available on the Charity Commission's web site.
